What changed

Every figure that moved, when it moved, and by how much. Datasets get restated — a source revises last year's number months later, a policy table goes out of date — and a site that quietly overwrites itself gives you no way to notice.

How this is produced. Each build snapshots the whole dataset and compares it against the previous snapshot. That catches automated refreshes and hand edits alike — including the incentive and phase-out tables, which decay faster than anything else here and which a per-source check would miss entirely. Runs where nothing moved produce no entry. Subscribe by Atom feed.

Reading an entry

  • Value — a number changed. These are the ones worth watching.
  • Series — a long run of numbers was restated. Shown as a count of how many points moved and the largest single move, because listing 175 individual years would bury everything else.
  • Count — a list got longer or shorter: a hazard cleared, a country was added.
  • Text — wording changed. Logged for completeness, but never used as the headline. One caveat: some genuinely material figures live inside sentences — a grant cap of "max €21,000", for instance — so a text change is not always cosmetic.
